Paul Wright is a Board Certified Estate Planning and Probate Law Attorney and a CPA, handling clients concerns with fiduciary and business litigation, contested and uncontested probate and guardianship matters as well as estate and business planning. As a CPA, Paul stands out from other probate attorneys. His litigation practice focuses on resolving estate and trust disputes as well as representing closely-held and middle-market businesses. Paul’s transaction practice involves counseling individuals, families, widows, business owners and professionals (primarily physicians) in estate and tax planning, wealth preservation, post-divorce planning, asset rehabilitation and advising business owners regarding on-going legal matters that affect businesses. He has settles cases in mediations and successfully tries cases in Dallas, Collin, and Lewisville County Courts.
A Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas graduate, he received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting and Masters of Science in Taxation degrees from the University of North Texas. Paul received his law degree from South Texas College of Law, where he served as an Assistant Note and Comment Editor of the South Texas Law Review. Prior to practicing law, Paul served as a tax professional for BDO Seidman, LLP, representing businesses and individuals in all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and controversy at the federal, state, and local levels. This year, Paul became Texas Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law. This designation means Paul is a specialist in the area of Estate Planning and Probate and sets himself apart with the highest public commitment to excellence in his area of law.
Paul has 20 years of experience working with clients to bring peace of mind that their estate is squared away for their heirs. He also works with clients on complex tax issues related to estates and family owned businesses.
