My goal is to provide clients with the means to effectuate their goals, whether it is to create an estate plan that fits their objectives, to provide assistance through the probate process, or to resolve their tax issues.
Katie Robinson joined The Wright Firm in April 2014, and she handles estate planning, uncontested probate and trust administration, and federal and Texas Franchise tax matters for the Firm. She works primarily out of our Dallas Office.
Katie obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Science from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, and her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas. During law school, Katie focused her electives in personal income taxation, estate planning and trust administration, including taxation of estates and trusts, as well as probate and estate administration. After graduation, Katie worked with a national bank in their Estate and Trust Settlement Team for almost two years. Katie uses her experience as a trust administrator to provide insight into the result of a client’s estate planning efforts, and to assist personal representatives with the administration of estates and trusts.
Finally, Katie represents clients in federal tax matters including tax return preparation and tax controversy matters, as well as resolution of outstanding tax liabilities and audits. Katie also assists clients with Texas Franchise tax reporting obligations for businesses and reinstating entities that have forfeited their right to transact business in Texas.
